This position is responsible for spearheading the marketing efforts for the agency and its clients; providing leadership to our marketing department by evaluating and developing marketing strategies, planning and coordinating marketing efforts, communicating the marketing plans to those involved, and building awareness and positioning for our company’s brands; working closely with our sales department to help develop a sales process and pricing strategy to maximize profits and market share.
Duties and Responsibilities
Leads and manages the marketing department, including assigning projects, coaching, and providing feedback to the team in the execution of tasks, projects, and programs.
Effectively supports projects and teams, and demonstrates creativity, effective oral and written communication, listening and decision making skills.
Serves as the strategic point of contact for clients with marketing-based accounts.
Participates in client presentations and meetings to attain new business and maintain healthy relationships.
Develops proposals and SOWs for marketing based programs.
Evaluates and develops agency and clients’ marketing strategies and plans.
Plans, directs, and oversees the execution of marketing efforts for the agency and its clients.
Works with leadership to establish agency brand awareness and positioning
Communicates the agency marketing plan with the company.
Supports agency sales and lead generation efforts.
Conducts research into competitors, demand, target markets, and other key business drivers in order to provide recommendations to leadership.
Ensures the timely and successful delivery of requests according to customer needs and objectives.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Directly supervises up to 6 employees within the marketing department.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or ten to twelve years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer skills required: Marketing automation tools such as HubSpot, Pardot, and/or Marketo; CRM tools such as Salesforce or HubSpot; Google Analytics; social media publishing tools; Google G-Suite; and Microsoft 365.
Other skills required:
10-12 years of related work experience leading a marketing team, preferably in an agency or an agency-like environment servicing multiple external or internal clients in a high-traffic environment.
Proven marketing campaign experience.
Effective time management skills and the ability to multitask.

High competence in project and stakeholder management.
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Highly proficient in marketing automation tools such as HubSpot, Pardot, or Marketo; Google Analytics; Google Ads; social media publishing tools; G Suite
Apps (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft 365 tools; WordPress and other
CMS preferred but not required.
In-depth experience with SEO tactics and best practices
In-depth experience in setting up and optimizing Google Ads campaigns.
Solid knowledge and experience with online marketing tools and best practices.
Working knowledge of ad serving tools (e.g., DART, Atlas, Terminus).
Highly creative, with experience in identifying and segmenting target audiences to engage, inform and motivate.
